Chinese Casserole

INGREDIENTS:


  • 1 pound ground beef, or thinly sliced beef, pork or chicken
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 cup button mushrooms, chopped
  • 3 celery stalks. chopped
  • 1 can Chinese vegetables, undrained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 package (8 oz) chinese noodles, prepared to package intructions
  • 1 cup water
  • soy sauce to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Brown the meat, onion, mushrooms and celery in a large skillet. Drain off any excess fat.
  3. In a bowl, combine Chinese vegetables, soups, noodles, water and soy sauce, mixing well to combine.
  4. Put meat mixture at bottom of 9×13 inch casserole dish
  5. Top with noodle mixture.
  6. Bake covered for 40 minutes.

Serve with chow mein noodles.
