Sweet And Spicy Sugpo Recipe


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 kilo sugpo or fresh shrimp
  • 2 tbsp of cooking oil
  • 1 head garlic minced
  • 1 onion minced
  • 1 thumb ginger minced
  • 1 cup sprite soda
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp peppercorn
  • 5 pcs red chili pepper sliced

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Saute the garlic, ginger and onion in cooking oil until it turns to light brown. Add shrimp; simmer for 2 to 3 minutes. Pour the sprite soda and let it boil. Put in the tomato sauce and soy sauce, stir carefully. Add the pepper corn and red chili pepper. Simmer for 3 to 5 minutes until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat. Best serve with rice.
