INGREDIENTS:
- 1 kilo sugpo or fresh shrimp
- 2 tbsp of cooking oil
- 1 head garlic minced
- 1 onion minced
- 1 thumb ginger minced
- 1 cup sprite soda
- ½ cup tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp peppercorn
- 5 pcs red chili pepper sliced
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Saute the garlic, ginger and onion in cooking oil until it turns to light brown. Add shrimp; simmer for 2 to 3 minutes. Pour the sprite soda and let it boil. Put in the tomato sauce and soy sauce, stir carefully. Add the pepper corn and red chili pepper. Simmer for 3 to 5 minutes until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat. Best serve with rice.
