- leftover lechon
- 1 medium onion
- garlic cloves, minced
- banana blossoms (optional)
- 1 bay leaf
- soy sauce
- crushed peppercorns
- vinegar
- brown sugar
- fish sauce (patis), optional
- liver spread or liver sauce
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Heat a little oil in a pot, saute garlic, onion; add lechon, crushed peppercorns, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, banana blossoms.
- Stir and add a little water about ⅓-1/2 cup. Let it boil over high heat then lower heat to medium low and let the mixture simmer for about half an hour.
- Add the liver spread to thicken the sauce, add more water if you want the consistency thinner or a little runny and simmer some more if you want a thick sauce.
- Serve with rice. Enjoy!
