- 3 Korean sardines, break into small pieces
- 1 block of silken/soft tofu, cut into cubes
- 1½ cup water
- 4 scallions, green part only, cut into 2 inch sections
- 100 gram ground beef
- 1 clove garlic, grated
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 4 scallions, white part only, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon sake
- 1 tablespoon mirin
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 2 teaspoon gochugaru (Korean chili powder)
- 1 clove garlic, grated
INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a mixing bowl, mix together all the meat mixture. Set aside.
- In another bowl, mix together all the sauce mixture. Set aside.
- Heat a skillet/frying pan on medium heat. Add the meat mixture into the pan.
- Once the meat is no longer pink, add Korean sardines. Mix well.
- Add tofu cubes and water. Bring to a boil.
- Add sauce into the pan. Mix well, then reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
- Turn off heat. Add green part of scallions. Serve with steam white rice.
