Scalloped Potatoes Recipe


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1800 g of potatoes
  • ½ liter of cream
  • 300 of milk
  • 1 bouillon cube
  • 2 large onions
  • 200 g of grated cheese
  • Well with salt and pepper

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices. Cut the onions into thin strips. Mix the cream and milk and warm it in a pan. Add in the bouillon cube so that it can be dissolved. Once it is dissolved take the cream and milk mixture of the heat.
  2. Heat the oven to 150 degrees C convention oven.
  3. Find a deep dish and cover the bottom with a layer of potato slices. Put 1/3 of the onions on top and then sprinkle 1/3 of the cheese on. Add on some salt and pepper and pour 1/3 of the cream and milk mixture over. Then another layer of potatoes, onions, the other 1/3 of the cheese on, salt and pepper and then the other 1/3 of the cream and milk mixture over. Then, the last layer of the last parts of potatoes, onions, cheese, salt, pepper and cream and milk mixture.
  4. Put the pan in the oven for 45 minutes, and then turn down to 100 degrees C and let the mixture be in there for further 75 minutes.
  5. Serve hot with meat and vegetables.
