INGREDIENTS:
- boneless chicken breast
- cheese slices
- thin sliced honey ham
- 1 egg, beaten
- toasted bread crumbs
- salt
- black pepper
- cooking oil
- butter
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Pound chicken breast to 1/4-inch thickness.
- Sprinkle each piece on both sides with salt and pepper.
- Place cheese slice and ham slice on each breast.
- Roll up each breast using toothpicks to secure if necessary.
- Dip the rolled chicken breast into the beaten egg.
- Then roll into the bread crumbs.
- Place seam side down in greased baking dish.
- Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it cool down for few minutes.
- Heat cooking oil over low heat in a pan. Fry the chicken cordon until golden brown on both sides.
- Slice and serve with banana catsup as dipping sauce.
