- ½ kg chicken, choice cuts
- ½ cup toyomansi sauce
- ½ cup water
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 small piece onion, chopped
- 1 thumb size ginger, crushed
- 1 tsp. anise powder
- 1 small piece of cinnamon stick
- 1 tbsp. peppercorn
- ½ cup brown sugar
- salt to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Brown the chicken in small amount of oil.
- Add the rest of ingredients and let to simmer for 20 to 30 minutes until the sauce is reduced and thickened.
- Serve with rice or potatoes.
