INGREDIENTS:
- 1 kilo fresh squid
- 1 cup of flour
- 2 scrambled eggs
- 2 or 3 Tbsp. water
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 chopped clove garlic
- salt & pepper
- cooking oil
- monosodium glutamate (vetsin) / any brandseasonings will do
- half a cup of sour cream
- half a cup of mayonnaise
- 4 – 5 cloves garlic, chopped into finest
- 1 tbsp salt and sugar
- Clean the squid and cut it into rings. Marinate with salt & pepper and set aside first.
- Put scrambled eggs in a bowl. Add flour and the 3 tbsp. of water. Mix them well until a smooth batter comes out. Then, it’s time to add the onion and garlic.
- Dip squid rings into the batter and deep fry for about 3-4 minutes or until the color will change into golden brown. Drain the squid rings from oil using a strainer. Serve it with your sour cream dip.
