- 1 large Tilapia
- 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice (you may substitute calamansi)
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried parsley flakes
- salt and pepper to taste
- Wash and pat dry Tilapia (patting the fish dry makes for less oil spatter)
- Make shallow diagonal slices on side of Tilapia
- Mix all other ingredients together and rub on Tilapia
- Marinate for at least 10 minutes
- Bake or fry fish
- Bake: Preheat oven at 190 degrees Celsius, bake until cooked (flakes when pulled apart with a fork), about 30 minutes
- Fry: Medium high heat until golden brown
