Sweet And Spicy Grilled Shrimp Recipe


INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce (more if you like it really spicy!)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 and 1/2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 and 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon garlic salt
  • 2 pounds fresh shrimp, cleaned and deveined

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the first five ingredients and mix well.
  2. Place the shrimp in the bowl and toss to coat.
  3. Cover and refrigerate and let marinate for about an hour.
  4. When ready to cook, preheat the grill to medium-high.
  5. Skewer the shrimp or prepare a grill pan, however you prefer to grill smaller items.
  6. Cook the shrimp 2-3 minutes on each side, until the shrimp become pink and opaque.
  7. If desired, use the sauce left after marinating to baste the shrimp while cooking.
