Tuhod Y Batoc Recipe




INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 k. beef shin/shank
  • 3 tbsps. olive oil
  • 3 pcs. med. onions, quartered
  • 2 pcs. garlic head
  • 2 pcs. laurel leaf
  • ½ tsp. ground pepper
  • 1 tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 glass white wine
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • salt & pepper

  • 1 pinch cumin
  • 1 pinch thyme
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 2 cups broth
  • 1 cup brown sauce
  • Optional ingredients:
  • potatoes
  • mushrooms
  • red & green pepper

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Cut beef in cubes or serving portions.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a pot.
  3. Boil until done.
  4. Separate beef and strain sauce.
  5. Bring beef and sauce back to heat.
  6. Simmer for 15 minutes.
