Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole Recipe


INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 - 2 pounds lean ground beef
4 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
1 medium onion, chopped
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup of ketchup
1/4 cup prepared mustard
2 tablespoons relish, sweet or dill
2 plum tomatoes chopped
1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1/2 cup baking mix
2 eggs
1 cup milk

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 400° F
  2. Spray a 13 x 9 baking dish with non-stick spray
  3. In a large skillet brown ground beef over medium-high heat, drain well
  4. Add onion, cook until tender, about 3 minutes. Add Worcestershire sauce, onion and garlic powder, pepper and salt.
  5. Mix in ketchup, mustard and relish, cook for 10 minutes
  6. Add meat mixture to baking dish, top with chopped tomatoes, cheese and crumpled bacon
  7. In a bowl whisk together the baking mix, eggs, milk, pour over meat mixture
  8. Place in pre-heated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until top is golden and set
