Pancit Canton



INGREDIENTS:
  • 1/2 lb. shrimps (optional).
  • 2 chicken breast, deboned.(You could also choose pork if you want)
  • 3 tbsp. oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • soy sauce
  • salt and pepper, to add taste
  • 1-1/2 cups chicken broth to add the flavor of chicken
  • 1/4 cup snow peas, cut into small strips
  • sliced spring onions
  • 1 carrot, cut into small strips
  • 1/4 cabbage sliced into small strips
  • 1 pack canton noodles
  • 1/4 cup water
PROCEDURE:

1. First sliced first the chicken breast into stripes and set aside for later use. If you want to put a shrimps peel the skin and also set aside.
2. Second prepare a large frying pan and heat the oil, after that sauté the garlic and onions.
3. Third add the chicken and seasonings to add its taste. Fry it and wait for a few minutes
4. Fourth add the chicken broth and water and wait until it boils. Turn the heat lower and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
5. Fifth add the vegetable and cook it until it turns tender.
6. Then lastly put in the Pancit canton noodles mixed it properly and cook until tender. Don’t over cook it, taste it and if it’s the right tenderness serve it to your family or friends.
