Spicy Ginataang Papaya

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 kilo chicken breast – chopped
  • 2 medium green papaya – peeled and chopped 
  • 2 1/2 cups coconut milk
  • 2 bundles malunggay leaves
  • 5 cloves garlic – finely minced
  • 1 medium onion – chopped
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 know garlic – peeled and chopped
  • 2 medium green chilies – chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Saute garlic and onion.
  2. Add chicken and let it simmer.
  3. Add coconut milk, ginger and let it boil for about two minutes.
  4. Add papaya and cup of water and bring into boil for about 15 minutes or when the chicken and papaya are cooked.
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Add malunggay and boil for 30 seconds.
  7. Serve and enjoy.
