INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cloves garlic.minced
- 2 medium tomatoes,chopped
- 1 small onion,diced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 pound chayote,peeled, cored and sliced thin
- 1 medium carrots,peeled and sliced thin
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tbsp fish sauce
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 pound pork butt,cutt into thin strips
- Saute the garlic and onions in hot oil in a skillet until the garlic is light brown.Add tomatoes and saute for 2 minutes more.Add the water soy sauce ,fish sauce and pepper and simmer for 2-3 minutes
- Add chayote and carrots,cover and cook for 6-8 minutes,or until slightly tender
- serve with white rice..
