- Oil (for frying)
- Sandwich
- 3 slices wheat bread
- 2 slices turkey
- 2 slices ham
- 1 slice American cheese
- 1 slice swiss cheese
- Batter
- 1 egg
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- Start by mixing all the batter ingredients in a large bowl and set aside.
- Place turkey and swiss on one slice of bread and ham and American on the other. Place remaining bread slice in the middle and secure with toothpicks.
- Add enough oil to your pan to be able to get a good fry on both sides. Dip the sandwich into the batter, making sure both sides get coated and place into hot oil. Fry till golden.
- Once done, let drain on paper towels for a minutes while removing the toothpicks.
