- 1 1/2 lbs round steak
- 1 clove garlic or 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 16 oz. can diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 medium onion - thinly sliced
- 1 medium bell pepper - sliced
- 1 Tbsp oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- pepper to taste
- Slice meat in thin strips about 2"x 4"
- In a large skillet over high to medium high heat add oil and brown meat
- Drain excess fat and add all other ingredients
- Bring to a boil
- Reduce heat, cover and simmer at least 1 hour or until meat is tender
- Can cook much longer as long as the lid stays on and temperature is low
- Mine cooked for at least and hour and a half
