- 1lb (500g) ground pork
- 1/2 lb (250g) green peas (frozen)
- 1/2 lb (250g) potatoes, cubed
- 1/2 lb (250g) fresh tomatoes, steamed 2 min then pealed and finely chopped
- 2 carrots finely chopped
- 2 medium onions finely chopped
- 2 cloves of minced garlic
- juice of one lime (10 calamansi)
- cooking oil
- salt & ground pepper
- saute garlic and onions in a frying pan until fragrant
- add in the ground pork and saute until slightly brown
- mix in the chopped tomatoes & let simmer for about a min
- add the peas and potatoes and cook about 5 min
- season with salt & Pepper (to taste)
- mix in the lime or calamansi juice and simmer for 3 min
- serve with rice
- garnish with calamansi or lime wedges
