Steamed Pork Ribs With Fermented Black Beans Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
  • 800g pork ribs
  • 4-5 garlic cloves
  • 1-2 slices ginger
  • 2 red finger chillies
  • 2 tbsp fermented black beans
  • For garnish
  • Spring onion
  • Sliced red chilli
  • Seasoning
  • 2 tsp fermented soya beans
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp ketchup

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Cut the pork ribs into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Boil water and blanch the pork until there is no visible blood.
  3. Rinse the pork and set aside to cool.
  4. Chop the garlic, chilli and ginger. Then add the fermented black beans to the mix and chop coarsely.
  5. Add the chopped mixture to the pork in a large bowl and add the seasoning.
  6. Wearing a disposable glove, mix the marinade thoroughly and massage into the meat.
  7. Cover the meat and let it marinate refrigerated for an hour.
  8. Bring water to boil in a covered pot or wok.
  9. Steam the pork over medium heat for 45 minutes.
  10. Garnish with spring onion and chilli.
  11. Serve hot.
