- 1 kg pork spare ribs
- 1 tsp crushed chilli paste {dad says masterfoods is the business}
- 2 tbsp BBQ sauce
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- juice of 1 lime
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp hoisin sauce
- 1 cup orange juice
- Place all ingredients in a large container and marinate the ribs overnight.
- The next day, preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius and bake the ribs in a lined baking tray, covered in foil for 3 hours, reserving the remaining marinade from the baking tray.
- Remove the ribs from the oven and allow to cool slightly. They could be completely chilled here in the fridge until ready to grill.
- To complete cooking, grill the ribs over a high heat on the BBQ, brushing with the remaining marinade while turning multiple times until warm through and slightly crusty.
